Don 3 has been in the news for the longest time especially when it comes to the casting. While it is sure that Shah Rukh Khan will be reprising his character, things seemed bleak for Priyanka Chopra, who had starred in Don and Don 2.
Now, according to a news agency, Deepika may replace Priyanka and star opposite Shah Rukh in Don 3.
A source revealed to the agency, "There was a sincere effort from the concerned parties to solve the problem. However, it didn’t work out. Hence, it’s not decided whether the makers will look at another actress like Deepika Padukone to play the female lead. Shah Rukh is the lead and hence indispensable. So the actress had to be replaced."
