Hindi Medium is written by Zeenat Lakhani and directed by Saket Chaudhary. The film will have Irrfan Khan and Saba Qamar in the lead roles. The film is a remake of the Malayalam film Salt Mango Tree, which in turn is a remake of the Bengali film Ramdhanu. The film was released on 19 May 2017.
